Affirmation plays a big role in Manifesting what we want in life. We all have a vision or dream we want to manifest badly, but the key always lies on how long we stay motivated and positive even when we face obstacles and challenges through life.

Let’s briefly talk about manifestation so we could clearly understand what happens.

The Meaning of manifestation

Simply manifestation is asking or praying to God/ the Universe for something you really want , and as it said in the book the secret written by Rhonda Byrne it could happen in 3 steps:

 1_Ask: define what you want and ask the universe for it. Be specific and intentional in your request.

2_Believe:Trust that what you’ve asked for is already on its way. Remove doubts and negative thoughts.

3_Receive:Be open to receiving your desire with gratitude. Feel the joy and excitement as if it has already happened.

With pure intention that everything is possible and you will definitely get what you want simply by aligning your Energy with your desire , you probably know all of that but the question is how to do that ? and how does it really work ?

How do Affirmation Work ?

For me personally I think that Affirmation is a constant reminder of who we are or what we are capable of doing or achieving what we want and as a result repeating certain words regularly could reprogram the subconscious mind to focus on the Goal wanted.

When I started getting to know Manifestation and how it works, I recognized that it is always related to Gratitude and Affirmation.

I started  asking myself “Why Affirmations and Why do they matter in manifestation?

At the time I had a The Secret Super App, inspired by Rhonda Byrne’s best-selling book The Secret, and I had  a daily reminder to practice gratitude and affirmations.


When We Do Affirmations, Our Energy Changes

I want you to take a few seconds and do a little test with me.First, close your eyes. Now, start speaking to yourself in a negative way. Say things like:

“I can’t do this.”
“This is too hard for me.”
“I’m not good enough.”

Let yourself go deeper into this self-criticism. Pay attention to how your body feels. Do you notice a shift in your energy? Does your mood drop? Do you feel heavier, maybe even discouraged?Now, open your eyes. Take a deep breath and ask yourself:
“What do I feel?”

Write it down in detail—every sensation, every thought, every emotion.

Now, let’s flip the script.

Close your eyes again, but this time, speak to yourself with kindness and encouragement. Say things like:
“I can do this.”
“I am more than enough.”
“Everything is possible for me.”

Feel the words deeply. Let them sink in. Believe in them. Notice how your energy shifts, how your posture changes, how your mind begins to open up.

Now open your eyes and ask yourself again:
“What do I feel?”-Write it down.

Note :

Let’s compare both experiences together

In the first experience, you spoke to yourself negatively, and your energy dropped. Some of you felt a heavy, draining energy—maybe even sadness. Others felt as if there was a wall blocking them, making everything seem hard and impossible, with no way for light to break through.

In the second experience, you spoke to yourself positively, and your energy was lifted. Some of you felt a spark of hope and saw a range of new opportunities. Others felt a surge of confidence and inner power.

Be always positive even in your hard times, you are probably thinking : “how can someone be in a difficult situation and be positive at the same!” I was there before.

Being positive according to my own experience is “being in a difficult situation and you feel all your bad feelings but you are sure that everything will be okay , it is not about forcing your feelings to be good immediately , but about  , Giving time to yourself,accepting the situation and being positive about it.it is very important to give yourself all the time to feel and process.

For me the bad feelings are the beginning of letting go.

 Practice Daily: The Power of Gratitude and Affirmations

They say that it takes 40 days to make a Habit , When I first started practicing daily gratitude and affirmations,Honestly I didn’t count the days but As time passed—days turning into weeks—I began to notice something had changed. I experienced Energy Shift and my thoughts became clearer, and a sense of optimism started to take over. I became more open, more in tune with life’s flow.

What Happens When You Use Affirmations for Manifestation?

Let’s see How Affirmations could change your mindset.

 According to my personal experience I could guarantee that My life changed—I started seeing the good in everything and remained positive in every situation, even when things were tough. I had a deep belief that everything would pass and that everything happens for a reason. And yes, that turned out to be true—I always found meaning behind every challenge.

I held onto hope and was frequently reminded that I have the power to create magic. Over time, everything became clearer, and life felt easier. In reality, most of the time, things aren’t as hard as they seem. More often than not, our way of thinking is the true source of our suffering.

If manifestation is energy so what you say to ourselves is also energy and we are manifesting even when we don’t know or mean to.
