In a healing journey, we always try to do our best for our well-being. We put in the effort to create a safe and loving space for ourselves and yes, we do see progress and positive change in our lives.
But sometimes, there are days when we feel lost and unsure of what to do. In those moments, we start wondering what is really happening.
If you feel the same, you are in the right place.
Summary
Healing Is a Journey, Not a Destination
Healing is a journey where we learn and grow every day. Sometimes, after a long period of self-healing, feeling lost or helpless can be frustrating.
But the truth is, your body is finally learning to feel safe. It is allowing you to face emotions that were once suppressed and that were hidden for a long time because your mind and body were trying to protect you.
You Are Learning More About Yourself
When you start learning about yourself, you begin to notice things you once accepted that no longer resonate with who you are becoming. At this stage, you may feel lost because you are in between who you used to be and who you are becoming next.
This phase can feel heavy and sometimes lonely, but it is always a sign that you are growing.
After Every Breakdown, There Is a New Beginning
That happened to me a lot. There were many moments when I felt broken, and the next day I would suddenly receive clarity about why I felt that way and why everything seemed so overwhelming.
For me, this feels almost magical, because we all go through times when we don’t even want to wake up. In those moments, everything feels heavy and hopeless.
But when the understanding comes later and everything starts to make sense, it changes the perspective completely. The pain no longer feels meaningless, it becomes part of a process of release from what no longer serves you.
Have Faith and Trust That Everything Is Working in Your Favor
Always have faith and trust that higher forces are guiding you, and that no matter how hard life feels, it is always working in your best interest.
Sometimes, when life becomes too difficult, the mind tries to find logical explanations for everything that is happening. But in reality, it is often just the body’s natural response and a form of healing that the mind cannot fully understand in the moment.
In such times, the only solution is to have faith and trust. Even if things don’t make sense now, they will eventually become clear, and everything will reveal its purpose in time.
5 Steps to Follow When You Feel Lost After Healing
I will give you five steps you can follow when you feel lost after healing.
1.Pause the Pressure
Stop trying to figure everything out immediately. Clarity comes when you slow down, not when you force answers.
2. Listen to Yourself
Reconnect with what feels true to you, not what others expect. Your feelings are guidance, not confusion.
3. Be Kind to Yourself
Feeling lost means you’re growing. Give yourself time, this phase is part of your transformation.
4. Let Go of Old Expectations
Sometimes you feel lost because you’re still holding onto a version of life that no longer fits you. It’s okay to release what you once wanted.
5. Accept the In-Between Phase
You’re not who you used to be, and not yet who you’re becoming. This “in-between” is uncomfortable but it’s where real growth happens.
